Incoherent Time

Realizing that it doesn’t matter if it’s 2020, 2000 or 1920 people are solving the same problems with the same heartache, pain, happiness and love. We stand at crossroads in our lives maybe seemingly minor ones, just like the generation before us did. It’s sad and calming, connecting at the same time.

  1. Wow! You truly have tapped into your inner wisdom here. This truth, which I have unearthed too, gives me a deep sense of peace and weirdly, enough, happiness. I know what is happening isn’t new, it is the same thing that has happened since the dawn of time. The more I separate myself emotionally from the external turmoil, the better I feel and the more rooted I become. How did you arrive at this perspective?

    1. i was going through the black and white photographs of my grandpa’s days. those smiles and the fact that the world was going through a lot during those times and weirdly enough people never stopped smiling. Just like us..as of now we are stuck between the pandemic but we also never stop smiling from time to time. i felt it all connected somehow and that is how i came up with this. πŸ™‚

      1. And I just thought, that we are actually trying to solve things in a different way, at least I thought we do so. Although I am a very messed up human. But yes, when I look around me, it is what you said. Besides all the madness in the world, how are you feeling and are you with friends / family right now and do you feel alone or comfortable / safe / connected with them?
Thank you for being here and also speaking about what bothers you and what you had to let out. I hope you are somewhat okay. πŸ’›

  2. You could have said it any better! I really appreciate your writingπŸ‘πŸΎ..

We all are connected. Humans. One way or another. The hardships, joys and everything in between binds us together. The same way what we are going through now will have an impact on the next generations and as a result connecting all us together.

It quite fascinating when you think about it. Xx

  3. The tagline of your blog “A human just like you” really suits this post. We are all trying to do the best with what we have, what we’ve been given at the time we are living. BrenΓ© Brown says, “All I know is that my life is better when I assume people are doing their best.” In most cases we can’t fully understand what people living in different times were going through, but we can understand that we can do our best to build on what has come before. As you say, this can be sad, and calming, and connecting all at the same time.

    Thank you for sharing this.
